Granola Bar Recipe!

I made these granola bars today and they turned out really good so i thought i would share the recipe with you all!

Granola Bars

Ingredients

* 2 cups quick cooking oats
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
* 3/4 cup raisins
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 cup chopped English walnuts
* 1/2 cup vegetable oil
* 1/2 cup honey
* 1 egg
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 1/3 chocolate chips
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper
2. In a large bowl, stir together oats, flour, brown sugar, raisin, salt, cinnamon, and walnuts chocolate chips. In a smaller bowl, thoroughly blend oil, honey, egg, and vanilla; pour into the flour mixture, and mix by hand until the liquid is evenly distributed. Press evenly into the prepared baking pan.
3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden. Cool completely in pan before turning out onto a cutting board and cutting into bars.

Yesterday i made some bread.the recipe came out of a really good cookbook that was made for large family's,anyway here is the recipe!

Best Bread
5c. Water, very warm 2/3 c. Dry milk powder
2/3c.Sugar 3-5c.Whole wheat flour

1/2c. Butter,melted 1 and 1/2 T Salt
3/4c.Vegetable oil 4 T. Yeast

Place all engredients in order listed in a large mixer equipped with a dough hook.Mix on medium speed until combined.then add in unbleached all purpose flour,1 cup at a time,until the sides begin to clean from the sides of the mixer bowl.watch closely to get just enough flour for a soft,workable dough.too much flour will result in a heavy,tough dough and dry,crumbly bread knead for 5min on medium speed.let dough "rest"in mixer for 45min.
turn mixer on "jog" speed to deflate dough after "rest"time has elapsed.turn dough out onto a clean oiled surface and form loaves. put into greased loaf pans(five 8" size).Let loaves rise until doubled,about 35-45 min.Bake at 350 for 35 min.(it makes Five loaves)

Since yesterday was the last day of co-op i will show y'all what i made!

I was in a knitting class and this is one of the things i made,a baby hat!!
I was also in a home living class(home making class)we made cookbooks and my dear teacher ♥Mrs Benavides♥ got them spiral bound for us!! i was also in a sewing class and i made a book bag but i don't have a picture of it:(

since yesterday was the last day of co-op,everyone went to the park and had lunch together.

I was just looking at Johanna's blog and she posted a strawberry muffin recipe
and i thought i would share the recipe with y'all.i made it one time and it was Really good.

Fresh Strawberry Muffins

Ingredients:

3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
4 eggs, beaten
1-1/4 c. oil
2-1/2 c. fresh strawberries, sliced and slightly mashed

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, combine eggs and oil. Stir strawberries into egg mixture. Blend egg mixture into flour mix until thoroughly combined; do not over beat. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 min. Makes approximately 2 dozen.

Yesterday we went to my friends house to make a movie.we were in another movie that they made called Bessie this was there first movie to make it is only half an hour it is the story of James black.(James Black wrote the song when the roll is called up yonder)you can look at there website.( we were in theaters!!!)here is a picture of my friend katie
My friend kind of lives on a farm thay have lots of chickens.a rabbit.two goats and they have some cats and 5 1 day old kittens.here is a picture of one of them they were sooo cute.

Hi! how are yall.i have't posted in a long time.how was you'r day my day has been good but it has been a lazy day because i have had a head ache since yesterday.so i did't do anything today.tomrrowi have a full day i go to co-op and have sewing class and a homemaking class and a kniting class then choir practise then my mom and sisters are having a girls time while my brothers and my daddy go to a mens camp-out that my church is giving. so i have a pretty full day but i like Fridays.i have been working on a tag so i will be posting it soon.

Today I got a LOT done. i cleaned my room which i share with my 5 sisters.i cleaned the bathroom.did the dishes(there was a LOT of them)and did the laundry.And i got them all done before one a clock.i Guess that was my spring cleaning?

This is a dewberry flower.i love dewberry's we get a LOT of them at my house. we make all kind's of things with them like dewberry cobbler we eat them frozen in milk and eat them just by them self.i can't wait til they are ripe. oh i forgot i made meat balls that was fun and they tasted good too.
